Big Band 1
The acclaimed NSB Big Band, our senior group. Entry is by invitation and audition only. Mostly students in Years Eleven and Twelve.

Our intermediate band. Mostly students in Years Nine and Ten. Entry is by audition only.

Big Band 3
Our junior jazz ensemble, mostly for students in Years Seven to Nine. Any student playing a jazz instrument can participate, space permitting. Students hoping to play in the senior groups must start here.
Jazz Combos
There are two combos meeting weekly. In these groups students learn jazz improvisation and small band playing techniques. Most of the soloists in the big bands also play in these ensembles.
