Booking a band
NSB Jazz bands are available for hire. Our groups vary in size and experience, depending on your function.
Options include a three to six piece combo or a full size, 20 piece big band. The combos are ideal for smaller venues and background or atmosphere music. The big band is perfect for large venues, bigger occasions, or if you just want to make more of an impact. Of course, we can provide a mixture of formats, or the big band can play a background set followed by music for listening or dancing. Whatever option you choose, all our groups come with an outstanding reputation. You can rest assured, they will sound great, look smart, and do a professional job.
Younger groups are also available for community events, or any occasion when junior musicians are appropriate.
All the money we raise through performing goes straight to our fundraising effort. The prices are reasonable, and negotiable, depending on the details of your function. Our groups are not an alternative to employing professional musicians: Expect to pay about the same as you would for a low level or young professional group.
